It’s common knowledge that we love our snacks around here and one of our fave ways to treat a snack attack is definitely with a healthy hummus and veggie sticks! This is our take on a super easy and flavourful dip, which we’ve topped with the delightful Spicy Tomato and Chilli Roasted Chic Peas from The Happy Snack Company – we are digging the combo of smooth and creamy with crisp and crunchy!
1 can organic chickpeas, drained
1/4 cup sundried tomatoes, drained
2 tbsp tahini
2 tbsp water
1 clove garlic
1 lemon, juiced
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
salt to taste
drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
extra cayenne pepper (if you like spice)
1. Simply blend all of the hummus ingredients in the food processor until smooth, add salt to taste.
2. Top your hummus with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of your crunchy Chic Peas and serve with your fave veggie sticks or snacks.
