Creamy, cold, smooth, satisfying AND nourishing. Perfect.
This creamy goodness is well-known as ‘nice-cream’ in the healthy dairy-free world. Simply because it contains NO dairy and is super easy to digest, the perfect refreshing treat on a sunny afternoon.
You’ll soon see it’s VERY simple, but has beautiful flavours.
As always, please get creative…this is just one combination of flavours that I love, but a combination of cacao & peanut butter is always a winner too.
You’ll need a fairly sturdy blender or food processor for this one.
Ingredients: (1 – 2 servings)
2 frozen bananas
1/2 cup coconut milk or cream (unsweetened)
1-2 cm knob of fresh ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
3 – 4 ice cubes
How to:
Throw all ingredients into a blender, on a low speed. Blend until smooth and thick.
Pour out into a small container or jar and place into the freezer for at least 1 hour. Or if you can’t wait, just devour right away.
Top with coconut chips and extra cinnamon if you please.
