We are right there with you, which is why we have taken the time to collate our top five healthy snacks in the I AM Co. office! Energising, delicious and not so naughty.
Coconut yoghurt to be precise. Free of dairy and filled to the brim with vitamins, minerals and live active cultures, coconut yogurt is a satiating and versatile afternoon pick-me-up. Top it with your pick of berries, cacao nibs, nuts, seeds, coconut chips, maple, whatever your palate desires, and you’ve got yourself quite the yogi bowl. We love adding some dark choc, walnuts and cinnamon to some deliciously unsweetened coconut yogurt; the perfect combination to energise our bodies, enliven our brains and keep us trucking through the afternoon.
Dried Fruit & Nuts
You really can’t go wrong with a yummy combination of the old scroggin mix! High in healthy fats and uplifting sugars, you’ll get a great hit of energy that will sustain you for the afternoon. If you are purchasing pre-made mixes watch out for added sweeteners like refined sugar and corn syrup. And remember to not gorge on these tasty mixes; with the nutrients being condensed into a small wee package, a handful may fill you up more than you think.
Tom & Luke’s Cacao & Peanut Butter Snackaballs
These have got to be the tastiest little morsels out there. Made with all natural ingredients and the unbeatable flavour combo of peanuts and cacao, these treats will give you a good dose of healthy fats and energy to support a healthy, active brain. You really can’t beat a warming tea on a cold winter’s day. Teas are a regular snack for us, not just in the afternoon but at any time throughout the day… and night. Choose your herbals wisely to set you up with optimal energy levels. Peppermint, green, lemon, orange, ginger, liquorice root are a few key ingredients to look out for.

We are huge fans of toast with any and every topping in the I AM Co. office. Choosing gluten-free bread is at the forefront of our minds, with no added nasties to compensate for the lack of gluten. Check the ingredients list for added sugar, dairy and other no no’s before purchasing. Some of our go-to toppings include avo, pesto, tomato, banana, tahini… YUMMMO!
