We don’t know about you guys but we are definitely prone to dryer skin in these cooler, wintry months and are always on the look out for natural skincare that is not only good for our skin but also nourishes it and makes it feel and look amaze too. Avocado

We all know and love the avocado for its renowned health benefits when included in a daily diet, but did you know that this superfood is also perfect to apply topically to the skin too? The antioxidants in avocados are said to reduce the appearance of wrinkles when applied as a face mask. Avocados are also packed with healthy oils which makes it perfect as a treatment for dry and dehydrated skin. Use a few drops of avocado oil on freshly cleansed skin to experience hydrated, glowing and soft skin – yes please!

Apple Cider Vinegar

Another epic ingredient that many people would not think to put ON their skin but here’s why you should…Apple Cider Vinegar is full of anti-oxidants which help to draw out toxins from the skin. If you are experiencing dry skin at the moment try using this product to help balance the pH of the skin, it works by balancing the production of sebum – pretty cool! Just make sure to dilute your ACV 1:1 with water as it is an acid. If you have sensitive skin try a test patch first.

We LOVE Manuka honey and for good reason! It is packed with huge amounts of minerals and other essential nutrients and has been used medicinally for hundreds of years as an antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory remedy for internal and external uses.
