Call us nosy, but we’ve always been curious about how other people spend their mornings before they arrive in the public eye, polished for their day.
We wonder, what did they eat for breakfast? Did they meditate? Did they stretch? Did they hit snooze? Did they have to only worry about themselves or a family…? So many curious questions!

Tell us, what does your morning look like as you roll out of bed…
What’s the first thing you drink?
Coffee of course..the first thing I think about!!
What’s the first thing you eat?
A breakfast bowl made up of my chia cups or sugar free muesli topped with superfood toppings and my favourite coconut yoghurt. And no, I don’t get sick of my own product which is great!
What’s your favourite way to move your body in the morning?
I am currently training for a half marathon, so an early morning run along the waterfront is amazing.
How important is stillness or ‘quiet space’ first thing?
I like to sit in bed for a minute or take a little longer in the shower to just have a moment to think about my day and enjoy my own company before the chaos starts.
Describe your ultimate morning. No kids, no obligations…?
My ultimate morning is waking up to natural light (leaving blinds open), bringing a hot coffee to bed and looking out my apartment window over the city….oh and of course, breakfast in bed!!
Please share your favourite breakfast recipe…what’s your go-to?
I can’t choose so here are my three favourites… My first Chia pudding or muesli topped with coconut yoghurt, cacao nibs, goji berries and fresh fruit. My second, is a sugar free green smoothie made with coconut water, avo, spinach, cucumber, ice and vanilla protein powder. My third go-to is toasted sourdough with avocado and poached free range eggs.
