It’s been said time and time again that attaining a morning ritual or taking solo time before the pressures of the day begin, can truly help success, productivity and happiness.
Call us nosy, but we’ve always been curious about how other people spend their mornings before they arrive in the public eye, polished for their day.
We wonder, what did they eat for breakfast? Did they meditate? Did they stretch? Did they hit snooze? Did they have to only worry about themselves or a family…? So many curious questions!
Follow along as we step into the mornings of a wide range of successful ladies from all over and to uncover what habits put the spring in their morning step…

Tell us, what does your morning look like as you roll out of bed..
I love mornings, for me they’re filled with the promise of a new day!
I try to wake up an hour or two before I need to leave the house (which is around 5am),
being awake before anyone else is the best!
I usually get up, get my Ugg boots on, make a coffee, and then spend at least 30 mins in my journal and praying. I do this in the warmth of my room for now, but in summer I sometimes head to the beach and kick it off with a sunrise!
This part of my day is what I look forward to most – helps me to feel anchored for the day ahead.
At 6.00am I’ll then either lace up my running shoes for a run or head to boot-camp.
What’s the first thing you drink?
What’s the first thing you eat?
A smoothie bowl (typical), or a chia/oat warm porridge – topped with nuts, seeds and banana & blueberries.
What’s your favourite way to move your body in the morning?
Running, especially when there’s a view! I’m training with a running-buddy at the moment, sometimes we smash out 15km before we start the day (or any water sports, like surf boat rowing!!).
How important is stillness or ‘quiet space’ first thing?
It’s priority – as I mentioned it keeps me anchored and on track with my goals. It helps me remain strong to my intentions in life and clear about the impact I want to make.

Please share your favourite breakfast recipe…what’s your go-to?
My smoothie is actually so simple:
1 frozen banana
Spinach/ Kale (as many greens as I can squeeze into my Nutribullet cup!)
1 cup almond Milk
1 scoop Vanilla Nuzest Clean Lean Protein
Then if I want to get fancy, i’ll top with cacao nibs and nuts etc.
