We’re obsessed with hearing about what other people eat all day erryday and we just know that you’re all as curious as we are! There’s something so intriguing about knowing the secrets of a healthy foodie. Follow along with this series where we find out what a wide range of successful health-loving ladies eat in a day.

This week we’re chatting with up-and-coming young athlete Tori Kolose. Tori went to Saint Kentigern College where she played in their premier netball team from Year 9 right through to Year 13, winning the NZ Secondary Schools Championship in 2016. In 2017 she was selected in the NZSS netball team that competed against Australia and she was also selected in the Northern Comets Beko team where she was named Player of the Year. Toru then also picked up her first ANZ premiership contract with the Northern Mystics as a training partner. She has recently signed with the Northern Stars as a training partner for the the 2019 season. Look out for this buddidng netball star!

Teriyaki Chicken Fried Rice

  • 200g boneless chicken breast, cut into thin stir fry strips
  • 125g pouch ​Wattie’s WOK Creations Teriyaki Stir fry Sauce
  • 1⁄2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 spring onions, sliced on the diagonal
  • 1⁄2 cup ​Wattie’s Frozen Peas
  • 250g pkt microwave long grain rice
  • 1⁄2 cup mung bean shoots
