We’re obsessed with hearing about what other people eat all day erryday and we just know that you’re all as curious as we are! There’s something so intriguing about knowing the secrets of a healthy foodie. Follow along with this series where we find out what a wide range of successful health-loving ladies eat in a day.

This week we chat to the talented Sarah Brittain, the face behind the ‘Fodmapfreelife’. 

Sarah is a chartered accountant who has recently(ish) moved home to Auckland from London. She has always had a passion for food, eating out and fitness but from a young age, she has had a few health issues.

Her blog and Instagram page is a place where she can post about her ongoing health journey, what she eats, creates, how she moves her body and her lifestyle and she hopes to inspire others by showing how living with health issues doesn’t have to be a limit on life and eating well!

  2. I’m a sucker for gluten free toast with peanut butter & banana and always with a cup of coffee.
  1. Your go-to lunch is…
  2. A colourful salad bowl – I love having salmon, some sort of carb (brown rice, sweet potato, quinoa), slaw, rocket, avocado, goats feta, a drizzle of olive oil and a squeeze of lemon.
  1. Your go-to dinner is…
  2. Bunnuce burgers or a vegetarian curry (currently both are in our weekly dinner menu rotation)
  1. Dessert or no dessert…
  2. Desert, even if its just a few squares of dark chocolate
  1. What you reach for when a snack attack hits…
  2. bliss balls (no dates), nuts, yoghurt or a piece of fruit.
  1. Your fave foodie destination… 
  2. I have to say I’m loving the Auckland food scene. Otherwise Greece for all the seafood

  2. Avocado, chocolate and coffee
