Your go-to brekkie is…

I am currently obsessed by Vogel’s Original Mixed Grain Toast slathered with Fix and Fogg Almond Butter, sliced banana and drizzled with our Noble Handcafted Tuthiltown Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup.

Your go-to lunch is…

We curently have the Great New Zealand Toastie Tour happening so lunch is normally an amazing toastie creation filled with McClure’s sweet and spicy  pickles and washed down with a Coffee Supreme flat white.

Your go-to dinner is…

I’m blessed with a husband who loves to cook so whatever he feels like cooking is what is on my plate!  He’s been playing around with a slow cooked lamb shoulder with the Entube tamarind mole paste and roasted brussel sprouts.  I am trying to reduce my alcohol consumption so during the week dinner is always accompanied by a Seedlip cocktail.

Dessert or no dessert…

Dessert in our house is Whittakers dark almond chocolate.  Every day.

What you reach for when a snack attack hits…

Any kind of fruit.  The fruit bowl is always well stocked in our household.

Your fave foodie destination…

I really love quite a few places – one of the perks of the job is is being able to visit so many cafes and restaurants.  For breakfast it’s Odettes – the wellesley smoothie is incredibly addictive, my favourite lunch is either Fed Deli or Major Sprout and dinner is Culprit.  For coffee I always nip out to Good Day Café in Orakei.

Three foods you can’t live without…

Coffee, avocado and chocolate.

Your ultimate foodie indulgence…

My favourite thing to do is to eat out with my husband Nick and see how our food products are interpreted and used in kitchens all around New Zealand.  Or at the end of the week it’s kids dinner on fish and chip Friday.

The recipe that’ll always get you drooling is…

My favourite recipe is Bill Granger’s Banana and Chocolate Bread.  It’s a winner in our house but I mainly love it as my two kids Ella and Harry help me to bake it and I always find so much joy in cooking with them.
