We’re obsessed with hearing about what other people eat all day erryday and we just know that you’re all as curious as we are! There’s something so intriguing about knowing the secrets of a healthy foodie. Follow along with this series where we find out what a wide range of successful health-loving ladies eat in a day.

This week we’re chatting with Jasmin, an 18 year old foodie who is passionate about creating and sharing whole-food based recipes on her Instagram @thislifeasjasmin. She loves making healthy food look and taste fun, and has a soft spot for breakfast foods, especially if they include vibrant fresh fruit and smoothie bowls!

Your go-to brekkie is…

If I’m not at work or have more time, breakfast is my favourite meal to get creative with – at the moment I’m obsessed with smoothie bowls and nicecream with all the toppings, frozen bananas are magic! But on a work day or if I’m rushing out, it’s a bowl of oats or weetbix with soy milk, banana, berries and cinnamon (and always a coffee!)

 

Your go-to lunch is…

Wraps or hummus and fresh salad sammies are a go to when I’m not at home, but if I am I like to change it up! I’m also a big fan of brekkie foods for lunch, so smoothie bowls, oats or buckwheat pancakes are a weekend regular!


Your go-to dinner is…

I live at home and do a lot of the cooking for my family so it depends – but my favourite would have to be a big stir fry or a nourish bowl with lots of veg, a grain like quinoa or couscous and something like tofu, spicy chickpeas, rice noodles or falafels – and obviously a yum healthy dressing or sauce!

Dessert or no dessert…

Always a healthy sweet treat to finish the day!

What you reach for when a snack attack hits…

Bliss balls, any kind of fresh fruit, corn/rice thins with toppings (like banana and peanut butter or avocado and chili flakes), dates, dark chocolate, I could go on – I love healthy snacks!

Your fave foodie destination…

I haven’t done heaps of travelling so there’s alot of places on the dreamlist but I would love to travel to somewhere like Hawaii or Bali for all of the colourful produce!

Three foods you can’t live without…

Bananas, kumara and berries!

Your ultimate foodie indulgence…

Right now it’s got to be a big bowl of chocolate nicecream topped with date caramel, bananas, coconut flakes and dark chocolate – it honestly tastes so indulgent!
