We’re obsessed with hearing about what other people eat all day everyday and we just know that you’re all as curious as we are! There’s something so intriguing about knowing the secrets of a healthy foodie. Follow along with this series where we find out what a wide range of successful health-loving ladies eat in a day.

Hannah is a digital marketer and co-owner of digital agency Brandknew and has over seven years industry experience, specialising in project and event management. Hannah started her blog in 2015 to share her passion for beauty and her following has organically increased, which has led to her blog expanding to share her love for fashion, health and wellness. Hannah was a commercial model for over 10 years and also danced professionally which has also led her to owning the Miss Auckland competition, which she has run for the past 4 years. Hannah enjoys working with brands in ambassador roles and is currently a fashion ambassador for Auckland Racing Club.

Your go-to brekkie is…

I fast half of the week until lunchtime but my go-to breakfast is always two scrambled eggs and half an avocado (if it’s not in season I’ll swap this for mushrooms) and 2 – 3 strong black coffees!

Your go-to lunch is…

I always take my lunch to work and it is often left overs from the night before. We always make more food so we can do this easily. Otherwise I’ll whip up a quick salad with chicken, tuna or boiled eggs or I love a vege soup in winter.

Your go-to dinner is…

I must admit my husband does 90% of the cooking, because he is so good at it and enjoys it a lot more than I do. We eat a low-carb diet most of the time and avoid red meats. Dinner will usually be organic freerange chicken or fresh fish, served with lots of veges and salad. Marco is very creative so keeps it interesting, but my favourite meal of his is spicy crispy chicken thighs (he makes a delicious GF crumb) and a light coleslaw with homemade spicy mayo.

Dessert or no dessert…

I go through phases with dessert. Sometimes this is two pieces of dark chocolate and a cup of herbal tea, or frozen berries and melting those two pieces of dark chocolate with a tiny bit of coconut milk mixed in on top – it’s delicious!

What you reach for when a snack attack hits…

Almonds, a protein shake or some fruit. I’m loving mandarins at the moment, such a good winter fruit!

Your fave foodie destination…

Definitely Bali! I love that you can find whatever food you feel like and so many healthy options. All with insta-worthy interiors.

Three foods you can’t live without…

Cheese is my go to treat, I love a cheese platter & a gin and tonic for a treat. Avocado and then I’d have to toss up between eggs and chocolate!

Your ultimate foodie indulgence…

This is definitely my mother-in-law’s cheese platter, my favourite!

The recipe that’ll always get you drooling is…

When I want a real treat, but something that is still healthy yet delicious, I love to whip up some guacemole to have with corn chips. I’ll mash up a couple of ripe avos, squeeze in the juice of a lemon (this also stops it from going brown), about a tablespoon of sesame oil, olive oil, sesame seeds, a hot chili and loads of roughly chopped up corriander. Serve with some high quality NZ grown corn chips. So fresh and delicious!
