Your go-to brekkie is…

A frozen banana berry smoothie.

Your go-to lunch is…

Sushi.

Your go-to dinner is…

When I’m in Auckland, it’s whatever the kids are eating… tacos, chicken and rice, spaghetti bolognaise, homemade burgers – classic kid food. When I’m at Parliament… café food or a quick healthy takeaway.

Dessert or no dessert…

No – never.

What you reach for when a snack attack hits…

Sweet chilli Peckish rice crackers.

Your fave foodie destination…

Yaruki in Browns Bay. They do the best sashimi (outside of Japan).

  1. Three foods you can’t live without…

Chocolate (any kind – especially Butterfinger chocolate bars), rice crackers, and peacharines.

Your ultimate foodie indulgence…

Definitely loaded nachos.

The recipe that’ll always get you drooling is…

Is it really bad to say BBQ ribs? My dad’s especially, with his famous Poppelbaum sauce on the BBQ at home.
