  1. Your go-to brekkie is…

Miso soup! Would you believe! I keep sachets on my desk at work and live on it in the wintery mornings. It nourishes my vata dosha!

  1. Your go-to lunch is…

I ebb and flow. Some days I’ll have a smoothie and vegetable salad. Others I’ll reach for carbs to fuel my wintery hibernation appetite. I feel what I need, and feed myself whatever resonates. Chocolate included. It is after all about balance right!

  1. Your go-to dinner is…

I’m obsessed with root chakra vegetables, especially when I am writing. They keep me grounded. Kumara, onion, beetroot, pumpkin. I do big roast ups with coconut oil, cumin, and rubbed rosemary (a tip fellow creative, Hannah Jensen, shared with me).

  1. Dessert or no dessert…

Yes! Anything with cinnamon and I am in.

  1. What you reach for when a snack attack hits…

I love GLO twizzle drinks from Greenleaf Organics for tonics on the go. A handful of nuts. The cinnamon cashews from GoodFor Store are my go-to. I also love coffee. I fell in love with unicorn lattes while in Brooklyn at a café called The End a few weeks ago, hoping a kiwi local recreates their mystic masterpiece! It’s the good guy version of the unconscious consumerism mess that is the horrid Starbucks unicorn latte… Starbucks create with food coloring and sugar. A real unicorn latte is made with…

Ingredients

1 cups raw cashews, soaked for 4 hours

3 cups filtered water

1 vanilla bean, insides scraped out

2 oz cold pressed ginger juice

2 oz lemon juice

1 Tbsp spirulina extract

1 Tbsp maca root

2 Medjool dates

Turmeric, spirulina powder, and organic sprinkles to garnish (optional)

Method

1. Mix in a high-speed blender for one to two minutes until well combined and frothy.

2. Heat on a stove until desired drinking temperature, or serve chilled over ice. Garnish with turmeric, spirulina, or sprinkles, if desired.

Unicorn LatteYour fave foodie destination…

You can usually find me at Major Sprout. The people are kind, the vibe is great, and the food is soul worthy.

  1. Three foods you can’t live without…

  2. Kumara, pineapple, chocolate.
  3. Your ultimate foodie indulgence…

Oh, have I mentioned I like chocolate…

  1. The recipe that’ll always get you drooling is…

I am not a domesticated goddess by any means. So my go-to signature creation is chia pots. I am obsessed. I make chakra inspired recipes, like a lavender crown chakra chia pot, or peppermint throat chakra pot. Edible flowers, essential oils, superfoods – its potion making for goddess eats. Check out my crown chakra chia pot here.
