Your go-to brekkie is…

A large stoneware mug filled with creamy matcha latte, scented with vanilla and sometimes a touch of honey. I make mine with oat milk as I find it mellows out the bitterness of the matcha, and combine with lucuma for an extraordinarily silky finish. It’s a wonderful alternative to coffee if you’re thinking of cutting down.

MatchaYour go-to lunch is…

A little feast of toasted sourdough topped with avocado, finely sliced shallots, a drizzle of apple cider vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, chilli flakes, cracked pepper and a flick of flaky sea salt.

Your go-to dinner is…

Almond, oat and poppyseed crumbed fish served with a dip of velvety butter beans and pungent roasted garlic. There will also be a crisp salad with seasonal raw vegetables, lightly tossed in tangy Dijon mustard vinaigrette.

Fish and ChipsDessert or no dessert…

Dessert. Usually with chocolate of some kind.

What you reach for when a snack attack hits…

A heaped tablespoon of almond butter and coconut oil. The combination together is rich, satisfying and full of nourishment.

Your fave foodie destination…

I recently visited New York with my husband and loved its vibrant culture and diversity. The thing about NY is there always seems to be new restaurants, bars and eateries to visit. The best way to find hidden gems is to wander the streets and notice the places humming with customers. There’s a plethora of Italian restaurants too, which I love.

Three foods you can’t live without…

Coconut oil, avocado and an abundance of fresh herbs.

Your ultimate foodie indulgence…

Panna cotta. I just love its luxuriously creamy texture; wobbly and wonderful, unlike any other dessert.

Panna CottaThe recipe that’ll always get you drooling is…

Eggplant mousakka or lasagne. I can’t imagine anything more luscious, melting and complex in flavour. And the best part? It usually tastes even more exceptional the next day. This recipe is particularly good.
