We’re obsessed with hearing about what other people eat all day everyday and we just know that you’re all as curious as we are! There’s something so intriguing about knowing the secrets of a healthy foodie. Follow along with this series where we find out what a wide range of successful health-loving ladies eat in a day.

In 2015 Catherine graduated as a Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.  She is a registered Theta Healing Practitioner and has studied Mindfulness, Manifestation and Meditation. In 2017 she travelled to India for a month and learnt from some amazing teachers.  

Catherine runs corporate and private retreats at her 35 acre home in Kaukapakapa and her goal is to be able to share with as many people as possible what she has learnt – and inspire them to live a life they love!

Your go-to brekkie is…  

Green Smoothie – full of spinach, frozen banana and blueberries, LSA, probiotic and protein powder.  Life Hack:  add a tablespoon of good quality almond butter to make a creamy base. Making your own almond milk is time consuming and many store bought milks have preservatives and hardly any almonds in them.  

Your go-to lunch is…  

Mainly I have leftovers – cook once – eat twice is a great motto!

Your go-to dinner is…  

I became vegetarian a year and a half ago and we have subscribed to My Food Bag for years.  I love their vegetarian option.  I feel like I eat at a restaurant every night!  

Dessert or no dessert…

I’m not a sweets person so no dessert for me.

What you reach for when a snack attack hits…

Apple with almond butter, nuts, kumera chips or a cup of tea normally hits the spot.

Your fave foodie destination…

I love curry so any Indian restaurant that does a good dahl.  I love eating from food trucks at markets too – fresh food made to order.

Three foods you can’t live without…

I love baby spinach leaves – I have these in a lot of my meals and smoothies, you can’t beat butter melted on anything and I would find it super hard to give up cheese.  

Your ultimate foodie indulgence…

at the moment it is dumplings!  I love them!!  

The recipe that’ll always get you drooling is…

Any type of curry with lots of chilli.
